N-Acetyl Cysteine/NAC/ The Wonder Supplement

February 20, 2018

I regularly conduct research to combat health problems holistically. I come from a family with history of high cholesterol and have tried to take big pharma medications, very begrudgingly, and each one had disastrous side effects. NAC is also used for reducing levels of a type of cholesterol called lipoprotein, homocysteine levels ( a possible risk for heart disease and the risk of heart attack and stroke in patients with serious kidney disease). Although I do not have kidney disease, this seems like a pretty decent endorsement.

Aside from a healthy diet, which we all struggle with time to time, I have discovered this gem of a supplement with a wide range of benefits for a breadth of ailments.

N-Acetyl Cysteine or NAC, which is how I will refer to it for the rest of this piece covers a wide range of spectrum symptoms, therefore I find it fascinating.

NAC is part of the amino acids family. A large part of our cells, muscles and tissue are made up of amino acids, building blocks for protein,  if you will. They are essential for metabolic processes. They transport and provide optimal storage of all nutrients, water, fat, carbs, proteins, minerals and vitamins.

I have added NAC to my daily supplement routine and I am going to list the many benefits to ailments below.

NAC is good for:

Acetaminophen poisoning, chest pain, ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease, Alzheimers, Parkinson's,

chronic bronchitis, COPD, have fever, head and neck cancer, lung cancer. Epilepsy, ear infections, chronic fatigue syndrome, radiation treatment, increasing immunity to flu and H1N1 (swine flu) and for detoxifying heavy metals such as mercury, lead, and cadmium.

Use for preventing alcoholic liver damage, protecting against environmental pollutants including carbon monoxide, chloroform, urethanes and certain herbicides for reducing toxicity of ifosfamide, and doxorubicin, drugs that are used for cancer treatments.

As a hangover remedy, for preventing kidney damage, due to certain x ray dyes and for HIV.

Fights Helicobacter Pylori, replenishes levels of intercellular antioxidant glutathione (GSH), which is often deficient with advancing age and chronic illness. Regulates the expression scores of genes in the pathways that link oxidative stress to inflammation. NAC protects tissues from the effects of exercise induced oxidative stress, adding value and safety to your workout. Improves insulin sensitivity in people with some of the most difficult to treat metabolic disorders. Blocks cancer development at virtually every step in the process.

NAC can prevent addictive disorders, can prevent depression, bi polar disorder, PTSD and obsessive compulsive disorder. Prevent chronic obstructive pulmonary disease exacerbation, improve muscle performance, PREVENT Alzheimer's when taken in combination with lipoic acid.

Prevent asthma, improve male fertility, reduce symptoms of ulcerative colitis, treat pulmonary fibrosis, reduce tissue inflammation, reduce symptoms of schizophrenia, prevent addictive behaviors associated with binge eating, drug addiction (esp. cocaine addiction), and other compulsive behaviors such as nail biting by normalizing the neurotransmitter glutamate.

Reduces risk of leaky gut, enhancing the regeneration of bone, improve sleep and reduce snoring in those with apnea, increase in survival rate in patients who have had heart attack, aid in recovery from brain injury, Protect against hearing loss in renal dialysis.

NAC is both harm free and tolerated by most and inexpensive ! What's taking you so long get over to your nearest supplement store and add this super powered supplement into your daily routine immediately!
